Marine Corps Baby!
I have known his Mama since we were 12 years old. We went to Jr/Sr high school together and have always stayed in touch. I have photographed her engagement, pregnancy and now her newborn session. When you get to photograph your old friends greatest moments you feel two things….Blessed and OLD! hehe
Her husband Chris, is a United States Marine, he is a true hero and I was honored to photograph him with his new baby.
During this session my daughter, Grace stopped by. When she arrived, and saw Chris her eyes lit up. ” A real life Soldier” I told her. I know they are not referred to as soldiers in the Marine Corps, but its much easier to call them soldiers to a 3 year old! So refrain from keyboard wars! Grace told him what I tell her they protect us from “BLUE DRAGONS”. I wish that was the case, unfortunately its not. Then I asked her to say thank you to him and she did.
We raise our child to respect our military, law enforcement and service members. She says thank you! She is not afraid of them, she loves them!
As you know by now I love these sessions, so I was very excited for this session. The icing on the cake was the fact that my friends father is a Massachusetts State Trooper, so we captured some for her father as well. It was a pure American Newborn Session!
